ALCS advocate and friend, Ruth Rendell dies aged 85

We are extremely sad to announce the death of Ruth Rendell, the world renowned crime writer - also Baroness Rendell of Babergh - at the age of 85. She had been admitted to hospital in January following a severe stroke.
