Writing East Midlands: The Writers' Conference 2017

ALCS is proud to once again sponsor the Writing East Midlands Conference, which this year takes place on Saturday 25 March. Now in its fourth year, the event will be held at the University of Nottingham.

This one-day conference gives the East Midlands’ writing community access to leading professionals from the industry, helping to provide professional writers with opportunities to be paid for their work.

The programme will include panel debates, seminars and activities covering a range of writing disciplines and will explore topics and trends on different aspects of writing, including publishing and copyright. Delegates will gain information about sources of funding, and have the opportunity to apply to have their work read by a nationally-acclaimed literary agent. Overall, the programme aims to help improve the skills of talented writers and help them to find ways to get their work published.

For more information, see their website.
