The role of ALCS is to promote and protect authors’ rights. Our goal is to ensure that writers are fairly rewarded when use is made of their work.
Through our lobbying and campaigning work, ALCS aims both to protect the existing secondary rights of UK writers and, in the evolving digital environment, secure recognition for their rights in new and developing areas of content provision.
