We pay those who write or contribute to books, scripts and articles – writers, editors, translators, adaptors and more.
As well as sole authors, we pay writers of chapters, essays and poems included in books. It’s really important to tell us what you’ve written. That way, we can make sure the right money goes to the right people. Please use your online account to tell us about the new works you’ve written.
If you’ve written articles or you’ve made a visual contribution to a book, magazine or journal you have to claim for these – so you need to tell us about them to receive any income for them.
We will regularly remind members on the website and in ALCS News to keep accounts up to date.
