PLR’s Most Borrowed 2013/14
For the eighth year running, James Patterson has retained his crown as the Most Borrowed Author in UK libraries.
No fewer than thirteen books by US thriller writer Patterson also appear in the UK’s Top 100 Most Borrowed Titles list, according to data released this month by Public Lending Right (PLR)
Patterson also once again topped the “millionaires” chart, clocking up over 1 million loans in 2013/2014. Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid series maintained its popularity, taking four out of the top five titles in the Most Borrowed Children’s Titles list.
