To help support creators during the current COVID-19 pandemic, a number of organisations are offering professional development programmes including talks, webinars and workshops. We’ve compiled a list of these which we will be updating with any future resources.
Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union (BECTU) has launched a free vocational learning programme for its members

Directors UK has adapted a Strategic Careers and Creative Consultancy that will offer one-to-one support for Directors UK members
The Federation of Entertainment Unions is providing online workshops and webinars for creative freelancers who are members of the National Union of Journalists, Equity, Musicians’ Union and the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain
Future Learn has paired with universities around the UK to produce a host of free online courses for budding writers
The Association of Independent Professionals and the Self Employed (IPSE) have a host of webinars around budgeting and how to fully utilise social media
ScreenSkills is offering free online courses for freelancers working in the UK film and TV industries
